?Homework (begins August 29^th)

????????????? 1.????????? Homework will be sent home in your child?s B.E.A.R. Binder. ?Homework is due the following day.? There will be approximately twenty (20) minutes of regular homework each Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday night.? If you have a busy night and your child is not able to complete his/her homework, please send me an email or a note to class if your child needs an extra day to complete the work.?? Please prepare for Friday?s Spelling Quiz each Thursday night.

????????????? 2.????????? For the nightly reading requirement, each student should devote fifteen (15) minutes of reading Monday through Thursday nights.? The reading minutes for each week should be recorded on the Monthly Reading Log and returned to class in the B.E.A.R. Binder on Friday.? Weekly minutes will be recorded each Friday.? If your weeknights are busy and you?? prefer that your child do the independent reading over the weekend, it ?is absolutely fine as long as your child reads at least sixty (60) minutes per week.

????????????? 3.????????? Please let me know if you would like additional challenge exercises or practice material sent home with your child.? I also have extension project ideas if you are interested.

1. B.E.A.R. Binder ? ?BRING EVERYTHING ALWAYS READY!?? Please check your child?s B.E.A.R. Binder every night for important notices from school.? Generally, all homework and graded work are sent home on Monday.? Please review and return any of your child?s papers that are marked ?Parent Signature? and also help your child to remember to correct and return any class work that is marked ?Please Correct and Return.?
