?My name is Humpty, pronounced with a Umpty.
Yo ladies, oh how I like to hump thee.
And all the rappers in the top ten?please allow me to bump thee.?

Sorry, got carried away with one of my favorite running songs.? In fact, I sing this out loud for all runners within hearing distance.? You may recognize it as Digital Underground, and if it?s not on your running playlist, it should be.

I hope you all had an enjoyable Labor Day.? I woke up to a solid workout that involved?some fast quarter-miles (4), fast, heavy lifting, followed by 4 more fast quarter-miles.? I?m going to be hurting a little by the time you read this.

So who am I?? I am Coach Oscar.? I have a fitness company based in Plano and I aim to offer words on a weekly basis that I hope you find useful and/or entertaining.? I hope to discuss pain & injury management, exercise, barefoot?running, racing experiences, etc.? Today?s entry will be brief, kind of like a teaser, with the hopes that I can get you all to stalk me.

What I do:

I?m a Speaker and Trainer ? small groups or auditorium, I?m your man.

I?m a Coach ? I GUARANTEE I can share information with you that no other trainer ever has.? Topics that improve General Health, Athletic Performance and Pain Management

I?m a Trainer ? kind of like the coach above, but I offer traditional bootcamps and training

I?m a Runner ? 225 lbs and I lean towards UltraMarathons. (I should probably start training for the Palo Duro Canyon 50 miler).? I am often the first runner OVER 220 lbs to cross the finish line?in a 5K .??I invite?you?to take part in the Tuesday Night Training (TNT) Group where we rotate through Crosstraining for Runners, Speed/Tempo Training, Hill Training and Trail Running (Plano area)

I?m a Father ? to an 8 year old daughter and my girlfriend has 6 and 8 yr old daughters

I?m a Resource ? you got questions, I have?an opinion

Next Monday, I will introduce a concept that has made running for me and many of my clients?much easier.? Once you understand it, you will find yourself running with more ease and enjoyment, and dare I say?a PR (Personal Record).
