Just an hour earlier, the IDFSpokesperson account had Tweeted a YouTube video showing an arial view of the attack on Hamas military wing head Ahmed Jabri, 52. The attack proved fatal.

Shortly after releasing the video, the IDF published a posted with Jabari's face and the word "ELIMINTATED" on it.

Gaza's health minister said that 10 people were killed in the attack -- two of them young children -- while the Israeli military said its attack was just the beginning of a major offensive and warned it could escalate.Hamas did in fact retaliate with dozens of mortars.

The warring groups has been using their Twitter accounts to provide real-time military updates throughout the day, but this direct response from the Hamas to the IDF began drawing even more eyes toward the way being waged between these feuding groups on Twitter.
